VACUUM LIFTING BEAM

Load handling equipment for gantry cranes, overhead traveling cranes, cranes.
The vacuum system enables to better spread the load when lifting long, bulky, flexible, antimagnetic loads or when mechanical lifters cannot be used. Multiple lifting points mean it is possible to adapt closely to geometrical characteristics, deformations and mechanical resistance of the load being handled. Mainly for use with products that have a smooth surface with no attachment points and to optimise height relative to the slings. The system uses suction cup that do not damage the surface of materials. Suited to the handling of isolated loads, both automatically or not, up to high production rates. Loads can be handled in a horizontal or vertical position.

SPECIFICATIONS

Design:

Welded high-yield hollow section steel structure serving as a vacuum chamber and equipped with a vacuum pump, filters and shut-off valves.

SWL:

To be defined depending on client needs: from several hundred kg to several tons.

Dimensions:

To be specified when requesting a quote.

Options:

Double upper attachment lugs, telescopic, etc.

Finish:

SA2.5 surface preparation, anti-corrosion coating enriched with Zinc,
chlorinated rubber RAL 1003 finishing coat.
