ELECTRO-MAGNETIC LIFTING BEAM

Load handling equipment for gantry cranes, overhead traveling cranes, cranes or stackers.

Enables better spreading of loads when lifting ferromagnetic products. The electromagnet is equipped with a warning system which self-activates when there is a risk of the load being dropped due to a power source failure. A back-up battery or a diesel/hydraulic generator can be fitted to the load handling system.

Typical load types: plates, coils, off-cuts, bars, steel sections, etc.

SPECIFICATIONS

Design:

Welded high-yield hollow section structure or standard open section steel beam depending on the SWL.

SWL:

To be defined depending on client needs: from several hundred kg to several tons.

Dimensions:

To be specified when requesting a quote.

Options:

Double upper attachment lugs, telescopic, the body of the magnet can be made of cast iron or a welded steel structure, etc.

Finish:

SA2.5 surface preparation, anti-corrosion coating enriched with Zinc, chlorinated rubber RAL 1003 finishing coat.
